Report: Iranian tanker on fire near shore of Saudi Arabia
MOSCOW, Oct 11 (PRIME) -- A tanker belonging to National Iranian Oil Company caught fire near the shore of Saudi Arabia on Friday, possibly after being hit by two missiles, Press TV reported, citing a contractor of the company.
Newswire ISNA reported earlier citing sources that an explosion occurred on an Iranian tanker 60 miles off the city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. As a result, two oil modules were damaged and oil spilled.
Crew is safe, no one was hurt, the agency reported.
